I tried to watch it on anime44 but nobody subs this episode… have to learn japanes :D

  8. Furman says:

Seriously why doesn’t everybody just pull out the older episodes of DBZ and get the subs? They should be exactly the same. Anybody ever think of this????

  9. juice says:

why would the old dbz subs be exactly the same when dbkai is a compacted version of the original story line? its not all the same dialogue and even if it is, the subs would be out of time. did you think of that before you decided to be a smartass?

  10. JapzLapeno says:

@Furman: Using DBZ subs wouldn’t work too well. Firstly, you’d have to fish through the episodes (plural) of DBZ they used to make this episode (singular) of DBK and try to figure out which lines are the same. If you don’t understand Japanese, you have to do it phonetically (by sound) which is a pain in the butt. If you do know Japanese, it’s much easier (though still time consuming) but then you may as well just translate THIS episode (duh). But if you do understand Japanese, you’d only be bothering with translating the episode to help provide the rest of the community with subtitles, and i just don’t think that’s the kind of person you are. Secondly, since they make edits and such to condense the series, and have had to substitute new animation for some scenes, it’s only logical that they had to change some of the dialogue as well. That means there will likely be lines in this episode that are not in the DBZ episodes.

The problem i have with this episode is that they had to switch to another sub group (Dango Speed Subs or something) and i had to stop watching a few minutes in. It looks like their translator isn’t all that familiar with the English language, or didn’t pay attention in school and doesn’t know grammar worth a damn. Thankfully, Freeze-Subs said on their website that they are continuing DBK and have released episode 72 and say they will be releasing 71 soon. If they had not, and all the English subs i could find were failed grade school English class homework assignments like this, i would wait until FUNimation caught up and watch the dubs on TV, and i HATE (hate Hate @#$%ing HATE) dubs.

  13. admin says:

please close the pop-ups, i’m sorry but I can’s pay the host if I don’t put the pop-ups on the site. If I will receive some small donation from the visitors I will be more than happy and the damn pop-ups will be history.
    Thanks for understanding!
