Dragon Ball Episode Summaries

Episode 1 – Secret of the Dragon Balls:
Bulma’s search for six more Dragon Balls leads her to a remote valley and to Goku, who is in possession of one of the balls. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start, but after Goku saves Bulma’s life, the two join forces in search of the remaining five Dragon Balls. They had better take care, for an evil force also seeks the Dragon Balls – Emperor Pilaf!

Episode 2 – The Emperor’s Quest:
Without realizing where they are, Bulma and Goku camp near Skull Valley, a foreboding land where one of the Dragon Balls lies hidden. Emperor Pilaf dispatches his henchmen to recover the ball, but they and Goku run into each other and a pack of ravenous wolves. Who will emerge the winner?

Episode 3 – The Nimbus Cloud of Roshi:
As a token of appreciation, Master Roshi presents Goku with the Flying Nimbus Cloud a magical flying cloud that can be ridden only by someone pure of heart. He gives Bulma an orange bauble that he wears around his neck, a seemingly worthless stone that had watched up on the beach. It turns out that this “bauble” is in fact a Dragon Ball. Unfortunately for our friends, Emperor Pilaf and his aids Mai and Shao are also after this same Dragon Ball. and now they know that Bulma has it.

Episode 4 – Oolong the Terrible:
Bulma and Goku’s search for the Dragon Balls takes them to the remote valley where they encounter Oolong, a shape-changing monster who is terrorizing Aru Village. They are promised a Dragon Ball by the local townspeople if they can defeat the fierce monster. Can our heroes possibly defeat this wily creature?

Episode 5 – Yamcha the Desert Bandit:
Bulma and Goku continue their quest for the Dragon Balls with Oolong (Bulma brought him along thinking his shape-shifting abilities might come in handy). But the next Dragon Ball lies beyond the Diablo Desert. Oolong is terrified, for he knows that the Diablo Desert is home to Yamcha, a fearsome bandit who possesses the awesome power of the Wolf’s Fang Fist. Can our friends make it through the desert to their destination?

Episode 6 – Keep an Eye on the Dragon Balls:
While Bulma, Goku and Oolong recover from the ordeal of acquiring five Dragon Balls, Yamcha and Puar try to steal them out from under their noses so that Yamcha can obtain his own grandiose goal. But they’re not the only ones after the Dragon Balls! Oolong wouldn’t mind having the Dragon Balls. And Emperor Pilaf’s henchmen are closing in as well.

Episode 7 – The Ox-King on Fire Mountain:
The search for the sixth Dragon Ball leads the Dragon Ball Team to Fire Mountain, home of the dreaded Ox-King. They arrive at the base of the mountain, but the scorching Eternal Flames prevent them from reaching the castle at the summit and the Dragon Ball within. To make matters worse, Ox-King appears to ward off the intruders. Will our heroes be able to capture the sixth Dragon Ball?

Episode 8 – The Kamehameha Wave:
Master Roshi, who appears to be a wise but feeble old man, reveals that he is a master of the “Kamehameha” an ancient and formidable force. The power, which he channels through his hands, creates a wave of tremendous destruction that can topple mountains.

Episode 9 – Boss Rabbit’s Magic Touch:
Bulma and Goku’s search for the Dragon Balls takes them to a remote village that is being terrorized by a villainous gang – the Rabbits. Before long, Goku and the Dragon Ball Team come face to face with two of the Rabbits, and Goku must fight to protect his friends. Can he protect them from the surprises Monster Carrot has in store for them?

Episode 10 – The Dragon Balls are Stolen!:
The Dragon Ball Team races toward the seventh Dragon Ball. Little do they know their enemies await them. Can Emperor Pilaf be stopped from gathering the last of the Dragon Balls and making his evil wish?

Episode 11 – The Penalty is Pinball:
The Dragon Ball Team escapes their prison to search for Pilaf and the Dragon Balls. Their freedom is short-lived, however, for the Dragon Ball Team stumbles into another one of Pilaf’s treacherous traps – a giant pinball machine! The Team runs a desperate race through the maze of corridors. What hope can be left for the Dragon Ball Team as they try to stop Pilaf from gaining his evil wish to rule the Earth?

Episode 12 – A Wish to the Eternal Dragon:
Just as Emperor Pilaf is about to make his wish, Goku leads the others in a successful escape attempt. Are they in time to prevent the Emperor from seizing control of the world? And just what does happen when Goku sees the full moon?

Episode 13 – The Legend of Goku:
Goku is exposed to a full moon. Transforming into a huge, alien gorilla, Goku goes on a rampage, attacking friends and foes alike. Can Bulma, Yamcha and Puar return Goku to his normal self without hurting Goku and while also avoiding Emperor Pilaf’s army?

Episode 14 – Goku’s Rival:
With the Dragon Balls are once again spread across the face of the Earth, the gang has split to pursue new adventures. While Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong and Puar struggle through the desert after their plane crashes, Goku flies to Master Roshi’s island to learn Martial Arts! But another boy is also anxious for lessons. Will Master Roshi agree to train them?

Episode 15 – Look out for Launch!:
While in town on an errand to prove their worth to Master Roshi, Goku and Krillin rescue the young woman Launch. They bring her back to Roshi’s island where they discover her mysterious and enigmatic situation. On one hand, she is a sweet- mild-mannered brunette who wouldn’t hurt a fly. But wait till you see her sneeze!

Episode 16 – Find That Stone:
Master Roshi takes Goku and Krillin to begin their martial arts training on a jungle island. Krillin cheats to beat Goku in the heated rivalry and wins, but soon has to pay a heavy price for his actions.

Episode 17 – Milk Delivery:
As part of their training, Goku and Krillin must deliver milk to a person who lives high up on a mountain. It sounds simple, but soon they are crossing deep ravines and dangerous deserts, wading through swift, powerful rivers and running for their lives from voracious dinosaurs. And that’s before breakfast!

Episode 18 – The Turtle Hermit Way:
Goku and Krillin’s training continues as they till the ground with their bare hands, dodge a swarm of angry bees and swim with sharks. Can Goku and Krillin survive the training to prepare for the World Martial Arts Tournament?

Episode 19 – The Tournament Begins:
The greatest warriors from around the world are gathered to battle one another in the greatest martial arts tournament ever. Can Goku and Krillin make it past the Elimination Round to participate in the World Martial Arts Tournament?

Episode 20 – Elimination Round:
The tournament is in full swing as Yamcha, Goku and Krillin all vie to become one of the eight finalists. Who will make it past the Elimination Round to compete in the World Martial Arts Tournament?

Episode 21 – Smells Like Trouble:
The final eight competitors draw lots for their match-ups in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Krillin draws the first match, against an unusually repulsive oaf named Bacterian. It will take some innovative strategy to beat this monstrous man.

Episode 22 – Yamcha versus Jackie Chun:
The final matches continue with Jackie Chun defeating Yamcha and knocking him out of the tournament. But there is something mysterious about Jackie Chun. What could his secret be?

Episode 23 – Monster Beast Giran:
Goku is set to fight the fierce warrior Giran. He manages to ward off Giran’s powerful attacks until Giran takes Goku by surprise. Suddenly defenseless, how can Goku get out of this mess and win the match?

Episode 24 – Krillin’s Frantic Attack!:
Jackie Chun and Krillin square off in the semi-final match. Unable to match Jackie in brute strength or speed, Krillin must use his wits. But is this enough to win the battle and just who is this mysterious Jackie Chun?

Episode 25 – The Fearful Aerial Karate Raid!:
Goku fights Nam, the poor farmer who has entered the tournament so that he can use the championship money to buy water for his drought-stricken village. But Nam is more than just a farmer and they wage an incredible battle. Only one of them can win and advance to the finals.

Episode 26 – The Great Finals!:
The final bout begins between Goku and Jackie Chun. It’s a huge battle between master and student with only one winner!

Episode 27 – Goku in the Biggest Crisis:
The final match between Goku and Jackie Chun rages on for hours, the fighters matching technique for technique even as the sun begins to set. Jackie resorts to his fearsome “World Surprise Attack”. Goku is about to concede defeat when the sight of the newly risen full moon catches his eye. Anything can happen now!

Episode 28 – Crash! Force versus Force!:
The tournament has turned serious with Jackie Chun’s titanic Kamehameha Wave that has destroyed half the arena and perhaps Goku with it. But no.the Kamehameha Wave was aimed at the moon not Goku! The winner of the Tournament will be decided not by Kamehameha Waves and transformations but by hand-to-hand combat. The fight rages on for four hours. Will Goku or Jackie Chun emerge champion of the World Martial Arts Tournament?

Episode 29 – The Roaming Lake :
Goku begins a search for his Grandfather’s Four-Star Dragon Ball and finds the adventure of a lifetime. The fate of an entire village rests on his shoulders as he braves the perilous desert to discover the secret of the mysterious Roaming Lake.

Episode 30 – Pilaf and the Mystery Force:
The race for the Dragon Balls continues, as Goku must battle Emperor Pilaf and his cohorts for control of the Four-Star Ball. Amid the chaos rises a new enemy – a mysterious horde of villains who will stop at nothing to realize their lethal agenda.

Episode 31 – Wedding Plans?:
There’s an impostor in the Ox-King’s village, and he works for Emperor Pilaf! Pilaf is back to his sneaky tricks to get his hands on a Dragon Ball, but he isn’t the only one looking! The Red Ribbon Army is also on the hunt, and they’ll destroy everything in their path to get what they want – even Goku’s. wedding!

Episode 32 – The Flying Fortress – Vanished!:
The Ox King’s been had! Now, Goku is here to straighten it out. Emperor Pilaf made an impostor of Goku in order to steal the prized Dragon Ball. But it won’t be that easy this time – Goku and an entire army are out to stop him! Who will ultimately hold the Dragon Ball? Or more importantly, who can hang on to it in this desert battle?

Episode 33 – The Legend of a Dragon:
Goku explores a jungle paradise in search of the Four-Star Dragon Ball. Little does he know, the diabolical Colonel Silver is hot on his tail! And when the Red Ribbon Army carves a path of destruction through the jungle, it’s clear they didn’t come to monkey around!

Episode 34 – Cruel General Red:
Colonel Silver’s troops scour land, sea, and air in search of the elusive Dragon Ball, but what they find is Goku! With the help of his Dragon Radar, Goku pinpoints the location of the ball and plucks it from under the noses of the Red Ribbon Army. But he doesn’t get far — Goku’s escape attempt brings him face to face with Colonel Silver himself!

Episode 35 – Cold Reception:
Goku is dragged into his most exciting adventure yet, literally. The treacherous Red Ribbon Army threatens a peaceful village. Soldiers ravage the land in search of another Dragon Ball, destroying anything that gets in their way. And a dark secret looms in a mysterious tower, which holds the source of the villagers’ woes. But forget all of that, Goku discovers snow!

Episode 36 – Major Metallitron:
In an effort to repay the kindness of Suno and her mother, Goku vows to rescue their kidnapped Village Chief from the Red Ribbon Army’s heavily fortified Muscle Tower. Goku storms the tower, but the hulking third floor guard, Major Metallitron, is determined to halt his ascent – permanently!

Episode 37 – Ninja Murasaki is Coming!:
Goku’s quest to save the Village Chief from Muscle Tower is in danger of coming to an untimely end when he confronts the fourth-floor guard, Ninja Murasaki. Known as the “Messenger of Death”, this villain has an arsenal of lethal techniques at his disposal, and he plans to use every one of them as he leads Goku through a treacherous obstacle course where nothing is as it seems!

Episode 38 – Five Murasakis:
Fighting a ninja is difficult. Fighting five – impossible! Those are the odds Goku must face when Murasaki unveils his deadly trick of Separation! And with five sword-wielding Murasakis on his tail, he’ll be lucky to stay in one piece!

Episode 39 – Mysterious Android No. 8:
Proving to be no match for Goku’s skills on his own, Murasaki makes a desperate call for reinforcements. He summons the Red Ribbon Army’s secret weapon – the monstrous Android Number 8! But there seems to be a flaw in the android’s design. He hates violence! Number 8 defies his creators by teaming up with Goku. Together, they must work to survive General White’s impossible tower maze.

Episode 40 – Horrifying Buyon:
Goku and Android Number 8 confront General White at the top of Muscle Tower. But the wily General sends the duo tumbling through a trap door into the darkness of floor number five. There they must face the blubbery monster Buyon, a hideous beast with only one thing on his mind – turning Goku into his next meal!

Episode 41 – The Fall of Muscle Tower:
Having bested all of White’s tower guards, only one obstacle stands between Goku and his goal – the General himself. In order to save the Village Chief, Goku must match strength and wits against General White. It’s winner-take-all in this showdown atop Muscle Tower, and only one of them will make it out alive!

Episode 42 – The Secret of Dr. Flappe:
The gentle Android Number 8 is carrying a deadly secret inside of him, and a mysterious hermit, Dr. Flappe, may be his only chance at survival. Can Goku and Suno persuade the Doctor to save their friend’s life? An old enemy has emerged from the rubble of Muscle Tower to make sure that they don’t – Ninja Murasaki!

Episode 43 – A Trip to the City:
Goku’s Dragon Radar is broken, and Bulma is the only one who knows how to fix it. He needs her help, but how will he ever find her in the sprawling urban maze of West City? It’s a new kind of adventure for Goku, as he discovers the hazards of city life!

Episode 44 – Master Thief, Hasky:
Goku arrives at Capsule Corporation, Bulma’s home in West City. He’s hoping to have the Dragon Radar repaired, but the broken device will soon be the least of his worries! The Red Ribbon Army and their hired thief, Hasky, are hot on his trail!

Episode 45 – Danger in the Air:
When Goku is reunited with Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar, the friends celebrate by going to a spectacular amusement park. But the beautiful bounty hunter, Hasky, has Goku and his two Dragon Balls in her sights, and she intends to turn their day at Dream Land into a tragic nightmare!

Episode 46 – Bulma’s Bad Day:
While zeroing in on their third Dragon Ball, Goku and Bulma find themselves on a beautiful uncharted island. But the enchanting island is far from deserted. When Goku dives into the ocean waters to search for the magic ball, Bulma finds herself in deep trouble!

Episode 47 – Kame House – Found!:
Goku and Bulma have located another Dragon Ball. Now all they have to do is get it. It won’t be easy – this one is lying at the bottom of the sea! The pair travels to Master Roshi’s island in hopes of finding some assistance, unaware that their progress is being closely monitored by the Red Ribbon Army.

Episode 48 – Deep Blue Sea:
Goku, Bulma, and Krillin comb the depths of the deep blue sea, where a third Dragon Ball waits to be claimed. Little do they know, General Blue is also waiting, and when his forces launch a surprise attack, the Dragon Ball team’s hopes for survival are sunk!

Episode 49 – Roshi Surprise:
While searching for their third Dragon Ball in a mysterious underwater cave, Goku, Bulma, and Krillin discover an ancient secret that promises great wealth, and even greater danger! The Red Ribbon Army is also on the prowl, as General Blue attempts to stop our heroes and fulfill his evil schemes!

Episode 50 – The Trap is Sprung:
The Red Ribbon Army is in hot pursuit of Goku, Bulma, and Krillin through the maze-like corridors of the Pirate Cave. But General Blue’s men have more than just Goku and his friends to contend with – danger lurks around every corner in the form of booby-traps!

Episode 51 – Beware of Robot:
Bulma, Goku, and Krillin discover a secret underwater port at the heart of the Pirate Cave. And though the pirates are long gone, this port is far from abandoned! A ferocious sword-wielding robot lurks in the shadows, programmed to guard the pirates’ treasure. And this metal monster isn’t taking any prisoners!

Episode 52 – The Pirate Treasure:
Separated from Goku, Krillin and Bulma have must face the pirates’ booby-traps and the deadly General Blue alone! Lost in the labyrinth and facing a monstrous foe himself, can Goku make it to his friends in time to save them?

Episode 53 – Blue, Black, and Blue:
With the walls coming down around them, Goku, Bulma, and Krillin close in on the pirate’s treasure – but they’re not the only ones! If the three young adventurers are going to make it out of Pirate Cave alive, they’ll first have to contend with the wrath of General Blue!

Episode 54 – Escape From Pirate Cave:
What do you do when you’ve discovered the greatest treasure of all time? Run! At least that’s what Goku is doing, as the Pirate’s Cave begins to collapse on top of him! But that isn’t the worst of it, for beyond the rubble lies an even greater menace that threatens to destroy our hero!

Episode 55 – Penguin Village:
After narrowly surviving their perilous treasure hunt, Goku, Bulma and Krillin return to Master Roshi’s Island for some much needed rest. However, they aren’t the only ones who have survived. An old foe returns, and he won’t stop until he has the Dragon Balls – and revenge!

Episode 56 – Strange Visitor:
Welcome to Penguin Village, population: strange! This extraordinary place is home to Sour Man, the plum powered superhero and Arale, a girl so fast, she leaves the wind behind! These bizarre characters and many more await Goku as he searches the countryside for the dastardly General Blue and the three missing Dragon Balls!

Episode 57 – Arale vs. Blue:
Unable to find his way home, Goku turns to a kind but inept mechanic named Sembei Norimaki for help with his broken Dragon Radar. Little does he know that the Norimaki family has received another visitor – General Blue! Blue has a plane to catch, but not before he settles an old score with our hero!

Episode 58 – The Land of Korin:
The Red Ribbon Army tracks one of the Dragon Balls onto a volcano island! They aren’t the only ones in this jungle paradise, though. A native, Bora, is there to protect this sacred habitat, and Goku is on his way too! Will the tranquil isle ever be the same after the Captain Yellow and the army unleash their destruction and terror?

Episode 59 – The Notorious Mercenary:
The Red Ribbon Army decides that money is no object when it comes to getting rid of the pesky Goku! So they hire the highly skilled and equally ruthless Mercenary Tao to eliminate him. The two meet on the island of Korin, where the native, Bora, tries to lend a hand, with disastrous consequences.

Episode 60 – Tao Attacks!:
The despicable hired hit man, Mercenary Tao, will stop at nothing to complete his mission and earn his paycheck. He made short work of Bora, but Goku won’t prove to be so easy. Goku’s determined to avenge his friend’s death and hang on to the Dragon Balls. But will his determination be enough to beat this cruel contract killer?

Episode 61 – Korin Tower:
Goku attempts to climb the massive Korin Tower in hopes of finding the Sacred Water. Legend says that whomever drinks it will be rewarded with amazing new powers. It is a prize the young warrior finds irresistible, for the shadow of the deadly Mercenary Tao looms near!

Episode 62 – Sacred Water:
Goku continues his training atop Korin’s Tower. Exhausted, frustrated, but far from defeated, the young hero pushes on in an attempt to capture the bottle of Sacred Water from Korin. Meanwhile, Mercenary Tao prepares for a rematch against Goku, in which he intends to destroy him. Will our young hero be ready in time?

Episode 63 – The Return of Goku:
The fight of the century is about to begin as Goku and Mercenary Tao square off for a rematch. Tao wants Goku’s Four-Star Ball and he’ll stop at nothing to get it. Luckily, our hero has a few surprises in store for the dangerous assassin, as he fights for the Dragon Balls, and his life!

Episode 64 – The Last of Mercenary Tao:
Quickly realizing he’s no match for Goku’s new strength, Tao decides to even the odds by climbing the tower and drinking the Sacred Water himself. What will Tao find atop the tower? And more importantly, what’s in store for Goku when the angry assassin comes back down?

Episode 65 – Confront the Red Ribbon Army:
Goku journeys toward the Red Ribbon Army’s headquarters to retrieve the Dragon Balls there. Meanwhile Bulma and Master Roshi are trying to track him down. They think they’re worried now, just wait until they realize he intends to take on the whole army by himself!

Episode 66 – A Real Bind:
Goku is on his way to take back the Dragon Balls from the Red Ribbon Army headquarters. And realizing the danger he’s in, his best friends have joined together to help! Can this small group of good guys conquer the legions of evil that await them at Commander Red’s compound? With a kid like Goku on their side, they just might!

Episode 67 – The End of Commander Red:
Goku declares war on the entire Red Ribbon Army! In an attempt to acquire two Dragon Balls, our hero infiltrates the army’s lair, where he must face Commander Red and his diabolical legion of soldiers. Danger and deception looms as the ultimate battle between good and evil begins!

Episode 68 – The Last Dragon Ball:
Staff Officer Black is on the attack, and his sights are set on one target: Goku! This is it, the ultimate showdown between good and evil comes to its thrilling conclusion! Plus, don’t miss the debut of Master Roshi, with hair!

Episode 69 – Who is Fortuneteller Baba?:
Where in the world is the last Dragon Ball? Goku and his friends don’t have a clue, until Master Roshi sends them on a quest to find the mysterious Fortuneteller Baba. She possesses the power to uncover things lost. But will she lead our heroes on a path of discovery or destruction?

Episode 70 – We Are The Five Warriors:
The battle begins! Goku and friends vs. Fortuneteller Baba’s fiendish minions. The prize: the location of the last Dragon Ball. First up: Krillin, who must face-off against a warrior with real bite!

Episode 71 – Deadly Battle:
How do you fight something you can’t see? That’s the problem Yamcha must face as he continues his battle against an invisible man! To help his teammate, Krillin concocts an outlandish plan that you’ll have to see to believe!

Episode 72 – Goku’s Turn to Fight:
Goku and his friends have won two of their five matches against Fortuneteller Baba’s ghoulish gladiators. But nothing can prepare them for what they must face next. Shrouded in smoke and secrecy, Baba unleashes a threat that will test the heroes’ skills and bring them to the brink of destruction, the third fighter!

Episode 73 – Devilmite Beam:
Goku has a major problem to unravel, how do you beat a 5,000 year old mummy that has never been beaten? Goku will need all of his strength and cunning if he hopes to win this fight. But this is only the third of Baba’s fighters! Goku still has two more opponents to face, if he can survive this one, that is!
Episode 74 – The Mysterious Fifth Man:
The battle for the last Dragon Ball continues! Now Goku must contend with the fourth fighter and his deadly Devilmite Beam, a heart-stopping power that no opponent has ever withstood. Master Roshi and the others can only watch in horror as the young hero confronts this new danger. Can Goku survive?

Episode 75 – The Strong Ones:
The last match in Fortuneteller Baba’s tournament has begun, and it quickly proves to be a bout for the ages! But the longer the fight rages on, the more worried Master Rohsi becomes! There’s something strangely familiar about Goku’s masked opponent, but who could it be? The answer is out of this world!

Episode 76 – The True Colors of the Masked Man:
The battle between Goku and the masked fighter concludes in an unimaginable showdown that will forever change our hero. Meanwhile, Emperor Pilaf sets in motion a diabolical plan to destroy Goku and steal his Dragon balls using a lethal army of robotic enforcers!

Episode 77 – Pilaf’s Tactics:
Goku knows the location of the seventh Dragon Ball. It’s in the possession of the greedy Emperor Pilaf and secured by his mechanized arsenal! Can Goku break through Pilaf’s titanium shell and come away with the final ball?

Episode 78 – The Eternal Dragon Rises:
Goku has collected all seven of the Dragon Balls! So, it’s off to the land of Korin to revive Upa’s beloved father. Will all of Goku’s hard work finally pay off? It’s all up to the Eternal Dragon!

Episode 79 – Terror and Plague:
Goku stumbles into trouble when he meets Chao, a little girl who persuades him to help save her village from a pair of dangerous criminals, Plague and Terror. The real danger lies in a secret weapon the maniacs possess, one that could destroy Goku and leave his new foes invincible.

Episode 80 – Goku vs. Sky Dragon:
Goku finds himself in the middle of a dispute between two martial arts schools, Chin-Star and Phantom-Fang. When Goku makes enemies with Sky Dragon, the Phantom-Fang leader, he ends up defending the Chin-Star School in a match to determine the Master of Martial Arts. There’s only one problem: Sky Dragon has never lost a fight!

Episode 81 – Goku Goes to Demon Land:
Goku’s travels land him in a tiny village terrorized by dozens of demons! The town’s princess has been kidnapped by these frightening creatures, and the king wants Goku’s help! Does Goku dare to go down into the underworld to retrieve the girl? Can he make it back alive if he does?

Episode 82 – The Rampage of InoShikaCho:
A low snarling growl, the ground trembling beneath your feet, and a shivering tingle up your spine. These are the only warning signs that the creature is coming. And right now, it’s coming for Goku! It is the monster, InoShikaCho!

Episode 83 – Which Way To Papaya Island?:
Three years have passed since Master Roshi sent Goku out to learn from the great teacher, life. But before the tournament begins, it seems he still has a difficult lesson to learn about deception and betrayal. And perhaps more importantly, he needs directions!

Episode 84 – Rivals and Arrivals:
As Master Roshi and the rest of the gang head for the World Martial Arts Tournament, one member is noticeably absent: Goku! After three years of training, his mysterious disappearance is baffling, but if he doesn’t reach the sign-in booth on time, he won’t get to compete!

Episode 85 – Preliminary Peril:
Three years of intense training has led Goku and his friends to this day. The World Martial Arts Tournament begins! Among the competitors is a dangerous foe who nearly destroyed Goku in their first encounter. Get ready for action!

Episode 86 – Then There Were Eight:
Of 182 fierce warriors, only 8 will survive the Elimination Round. As the fighting continues, Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha struggle to stay on top! And by the looks of the competition, that’s no easy task!

Episode 87 – Yamcha vs. Tien:
The Elimination Round is over, with Goku, Yamcha, and Krillin all among the 8 finalists. Now the real challenge begins with the start of the Quarter-Finals. First up: Yamcha fights his new rival, Tien Shinhan!

Episode 88 – Yamcha’s Big Break:
As the World Martial Arts Tournament continues, the first match in the Quarter-Finals is well underway, with Yamcha challenging Tien Shinhan. With these two warriors locked in combat, one thing is certain: sparks will fly!

Episode 89 – Full-Moon Vengeance:
The most dangerous foe is one with nothing to lose, and Man Wolf is a loose cannon bent on destroying Jackie Chun as they square off in the second match of the Quarter-Finals. For Man Wolf, this fight isn’t about the Martial Arts title. It’s about revenge!

Episode 90 – The Dodon Wave:
It burns hotter than the sun. Nothing can stop it. And if it touches you, it will tear you apart…the Dodon Wave. Chiaotzu controls it, and his aim is locked on Krillin.

Episode 91 – Counting Controversy!:
Krillin has his hands full as he continues his match against Chiaotzu, who unveils an even deadlier power than the Dodon Wave! Krillin thinks he’s fighting for the championship, but if Master Shen has his way, he’ll be fighting for his life!

Episode 92 – Goku Enters the Ring:
The fourth match in the tournament Quarter-Finals finds Goku going up against a power unlike any he has ever faced: fame! Pamput, world-renowned fighter and action star has come to the tournament to claim the title of Master of Martial Arts, the only championship he hasn’t won. Forget the lights and camera, this is all action!

Episode 93 – Tienshinhan vs. Jackie Chun:
The Semi-Finals round of the Martial Arts Tournament begins with an extraordinary battle between the young, brash Tien Shinhan and the seasoned champion, Jackie Chun. As the two warriors combat with unrelenting fury, who will win is anyone’s guess!

Episode 94 – Stepping Down:
The battle between Jacky Chun and Tien Shinhan takes on epic proportions as they continue their struggle, using every trick and technique in the book…with disastrous results! The punches are stronger, the kicks are higher, and the audience is caught in the middle!

Episode 95 – Goku vs. Krillin:
Goku and Krillin have fought many battles together, but this one may be their most challenging yet. For in this battle, they must fight each other. Friends become foes in the sixth match of the World Martial Arts Tournament, as they compete to see who will advance to the Championship Round!

Episode 96 – Tail’s Tail:
The fight between Goku and Krillin heats up as the World Martial Arts Tournament continues. What began as friendly combat turns to all-out war after Krillin pulls a sneaky stunt behind Goku’s back. Tempers flare, the battle turns fierce, and a once strong friendship all but disappears. Be prepared! The outcome of this match will knock you off your feet!

Episode 97 – Final Match: Goku vs. Tienshinhan:
The final match in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament is about to begin! Goku faces Tien Shinhan in a climactic battle to see who will become the next Master of Martial Arts! However, if Tien has his way, this will be Goku’s final match, period!

Episode 98 – Victory’s Edge:
Battered, bruised, and on the brink of destruction, Goku finds himself at the mercy of Tien Shinhan, as the final match in the World Martial Arts Tournament continues. No one has witnessed combat like this! Who will win the ultimate battle? Watch and find out!

Episode 99 – Enlightenment?:
Goku and Tien’s power and technique seem to be amazingly equal, but a dramatic turn of events enrages Tien to a new level of focus and determination. Only one outcome will satisfy the proud Tien as he unveils a sinister new attack! How can Goku survive against this monstrous new Tien?

Episode 100 – The Spirit Canon:
Tien aims at victory by pulling out all the stops against the courageous Goku. Tien prepares to unleash the destructive power of his most deadly technique, the Spirit Canon! The match could end with this deadly assault, but the Spirit Canon often demands a higher price…the death of its user!

Episode 101 – A New Champion:
The Spirit Canon has left both fighters weary and exhausted. With all of their energy gone and the stage destroyed by the Spirit Canon, Tien and Goku plummet towards the earth, with the first to touch down losing the match! A new Champion is crowned today!

Episode 102 – Enter King Piccolo:
Krillin is dead! As Goku sets out on a quest for revenge, his friends attempt to learn the identity of Krillin’s killer. All clues lead to Master Roshi’s past and an evil that could destroy the world!

Episode 103 – Tambourine Attacks!:
King Piccolo has begun his sinister plot to restore his power and take over the world. All he needs are the seven Dragon Balls and all of the Martial Arts Society members dead.

Episode 104 – Mark of the Demon:
The evil Piccolo has sent his henchman, Tambourine to kill all the warriors that could foil his plans. Goku, in an effort to avenge Krillin’s death, is defeated by Tambourine and left stranded. He runs into a strange mountain man but is he friend or foe?

Episode 105 – Here Comes Yajirobe:
Lost in the wilderness, Goku fights for his honor after a mountain boy accuses him of stealing his fish. Meanwhile, Master Roshi and company desperately search for a means of stopping King Piccolo from obtaining the Dragon Balls and annihilating the Martial Arts Society!

Episode 106 – Terrible Tambourine:
Tambourine continues his seek-and-slaughter campaign of martial artists as he sets his sight on victim eight: Yamcha! Master Roshi takes Tien and Chiaotzu on a cross-country race for the Dragon Balls, as they try to stay ahead of the competition, King Piccolo and his dastardly horde. Meanwhile Goku attempts to persuade mountain-boy Yajirobe to hand over his Dragon Ball to help save Krillin!

Episode 107 – Tien’s Atonement:
Tambourine closes in on Goku and Yajirobe as the two warriors engage in a cross-country chase’ of each other. Meanwhile, to obtain a Dragon Ball Tien Shinhan must first atone for the brutality of his past.

Episode 108 – Goku’s Revenge:
The final showdown between Goku and Tambourine is here! As Goku fights to avenge Krillin’s death, Master Roshi, Tien, and Chiaotzu continue their race against King Piccolo for the Dragon Balls. However, Piccolo is out to get those responsible for Cymbal’s demise, and the trail leads him to Goku!

Episode 109 – Goku vs. King Piccolo:
Goku must stand alone as he faces the wrath of King Piccolo. Without aid, and protecting the one-star Dragon Ball, Goku defends his life as the dastardly alien seeks revenge for the deaths of Cymbal and Tambourine, two of his prized soldiers. Master Roshi finds himself between a rock and a hard place as he quests for the three-star ball.

Episode 110 – Piccolo Closes In:
Exhausted, bruised, and alone, Goku makes a final stand against the seemingly indestructible King Piccolo. As Master Roshi and the others continue their pursuit of the Dragon Balls, it becomes clear that the trail leads to the dark forces of Piccolo and judgment day for our heroes.

Episode 111 – Roshi’s Gambit:
Global destruction is one wish away if King Piccolo succeeds in calling forth the Eternal Dragon. Master Roshi answers the call for a hero by placing himself between the creature and the remaining Dragon Balls. However, in his attempt to save the world, he may pay the ultimate price.

Episode 112 – King Piccolo’s Wish:
King Piccolo has called forth the Eternal Dragon. Master Roshi is down, Tien can’t get up and Chiaotzu is scared stiff. With no one to oppose him, Piccolo prepares to make a wish, which if granted, could become the world’s greatest nightmare!

Episode 113 – Siege on Chow Castle:
The invasion has begun! A youthful King Piccolo sets out to vanquish the world, sector by sector, and he’s starting out with the peaceful inhabitants of King Furry’s realm! Meanwhile, Goku hopes to regain his strength by visiting Master Korin’s Tower, if he can climb it, exhausted and frail.

Episode 114 – Conquest and Power:
Goku’s reunion with Master Korin is filled with hope and disappointment as the hero receives shocking news! Meanwhile King Piccolo attempts to force King Furry’s obedience through a horrific display of brutality towards his kingdom and subjects as Tien prepares for the long journey to learn the secret of the Evil Containment Wave.

Episode 115 – Awaken Darkness:
Something stirs in the cold, deep black below. Moans bellow from a hollow cavern beneath the ice. The Dark is alive! And it calls for Goku, as he sets out on a dangerous quest to find the Ultra Divine Water. One sip could mean amazing power, or painful death!

Episode 116 – A Taste of Destiny:
Goku and Yajirobe seek the Ultra Divine Water, a mystical beverage that will grant either great power or death. But surprise follows surprise as Goku finally finds Darkness, the keeper of the Ultra Divine Water. After Goku proves himself worthy, Darkness allows him to drink the perilous potion. But will he be empowered or perish?

Episode 117 – The Ultimate Sacrifice:
Tien masters the Evil Containment Wave, deciding to use it against the evil Piccolo. One problem; if used against an opponent the Wave will kill its user! Meanwhile Goku and Yajirobe return to Korin’s Tower where Goku discovers his new powers and is given another Nimbus cloud. Can Goku reach Piccolo before Tien sacrifices himself?

Episode 118 – Prelude to Vengeance:
King Piccolo has declared annihilation of the world, one sector at a time. First up, the Western City, home of Bulma’s parents. Tien Shinhan, having mastered the Evil Containment Wave, prepares to fight Piccolo, but a new menace threatens all. Goku races to offer aid, but will it be too late?

Episode 119 – Battle Cry:
There?s a new beast in town and his name is Drum. Tien Shinhan must go through him before he can fight King Piccolo. The problem is, Drum moves faster than Tien’s eyes, all three of them! Goku is on his way, but will he arrive in time to save the day?

Episode 120 – Goku Strikes Back:
Goku is back to face King Piccolo, and not a moment too soon! As Tien Shinhan and the rest of the resistance endure their most desperate hour, only Goku stands between Piccolo and the destruction of the Western City. It?s more than just a rematch, it?s the battle to save the world!

Episode 121 – The Biggest Crisis:
Piccolo puts all of West City on edge when he invades the King?s castle, but Goku is not about to let him take over without a fight. While Tien watches from the sidelines, the young Saiyan takes it on the chin and refuses to go down. It?s a fierce battle but even Goku has his limits. How much can he take?

Episode 122 – Final Showdown:
The fierce fight between Goku and Piccolo continues, but Piccolo gains the advantage when he breaks Goku down limb by limb. To make matters worse, Tien is used as a pawn in the battle. Goku is forced to make an awful choice. Will he surrender to Piccolo and save his friend or choose to fight and risk his own life?

Episode 123 – Lost and Found:
With Piccolo’s reign of terror at an end, Goku has time to mend his wounds. As he heals he learns that there may be a way to revive his lost friends! A face to face meeting with the creator of the Dragonballs! The only problem is that the only way to get to the mysterious Kami is by using his Power Pole, and it?s gone missing!

Episode 124 – Temple Above The Clouds:
Goku finds his lost Power Pole and uses it to climb to Kami’s temple in the sky. The only problem is that when he arrives he must face off against Kami?s assistant Mr. Popo in a test of strength. Does Goku have what it takes to pass this test and earn a meeting with the mysterious Kami?

Episode 125 – Earth’s Guardian Emerges:
The moment has arrived for Goku to come face to face with the amazing Kami, Guardian of Earth! But even the wise Korin could not prepare Goku for what he will see when the mysterious Guardian emerges!

Episode 126 – Eternal Dragon Resurrected:
After Goku mistakes Kami for the villainous Piccolo it is time for the young warrior to begin his grueling three year training for the next World Martial Arts Tournament. In exchange for Goku?s promise Kami agrees to revive the Eternal Dragon!

Episode 127 – Quicker Than Lightning:
Goku?s first task under his new teacher is a death-defying mission to the top of Mount Rumble to fetch the legendary Sacred Crown. But the mystical artifact has a deadly secret! Goku will have to be quicker than lightning to accomplish this task?alive!

Episode 128 – Secret of the Woods:
Continuing his training, Goku follows Popo?s instruction and enters the deep, dark woods. While searching for a worthy sparring partner, Goku stumbles across a surprising discovery hidden deep within the secluded labyrinth?and finds help a most unexpected way!

Episode 129 – The Time Room:
Goku journeys through time, where he meets a young Master Roshi! But Roshi has a problem of his own?his arch rival, Shen! While the two rivals battle for the affections of the same girl, Goku attempts a new power with the help of Master Mutaito.

Episode 130 – Goku’s Doll:
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it!? Goku learns this lesson the hard way when he asks Popo for the ultimate sparring partner to aid in his training. What he gets is the battle of his life! Meanwhile, Yamcha and the others continue their long journey to reach Korin’s Tower, in hopes of receiving training from the wise Master.

Episode 131 – Walking Their Own Ways:
Preparing for the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku gets some important training tips from Mr. Popo. Meanwhile, Tien, Yamcha, Chaiotzu and Krillin make their way to Korin?s Tower for some training of their own. Unfortunately they are sidetracked by a village celebrating a mysterious festival to their mountain spirit. Once the mountain erupts it?s up to our heroes to put a lid on the active volcano!

Episode 132 – Hotter Than Lava:
While Goku continues his training, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Krillin find themselves in a very hot situation! A remote village is threatened by an erupting volcano and it?s up to the good guys to put a lid on it. The time has come to put their new training to the test!

Episode 133 – Changes:
Warriors the world over are lining up to compete as the World Martial Arts Tournament prepares to get under way. Unfortunately, all of Master Roshi’s pupils are missing, including Goku. With the entry-deadline approaching, the competitive future of our heroes looks bleak, as does Roshi’s patience.

Episode 134 – Preliminary Peril:
The World Martial Arts Tournament gets underway as Goku and the others compete in the exciting preliminary round. But the competition threatens to turn ugly when Goku gets a visit from an old adversary.

Episode 135 – Battle of the Eight:
The preliminary round continues as Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien battle one opponent after another in hopes of advancing to the semi-final round. Meanwhile, Master Roshi is confronted by an old rival.

Episode 136 – Tien Shinhan vs. Mercenary Tao:
The Tournament gets underway as Tien Shinhan battles his former mentor turned cyborg, Mercenary Tao. Tensions run high as the former assassin attempts to take Tien down ? permanently!

Episode 137 – Anonymous Proposal:
Goku takes on his most lovely opponent yet in the second match of the World Martial Arts Tournament. Known only as Anonymous, the beautiful warrior?s identity is as mysterious as her fierce anger toward Goku, who must win the match in order to learn her real name.

Episode 138 – The Mysterious Hero:
The tournament continues with a double header! First up, Krillin battles Junior, King Piccolo?s alter ego, and every bit as powerful. Yamcha jumps in the ring next, opposing Hero, whose meek appearance may hide a darker threat.
Episode 139 – Rematch:
Yamcha scratches to stay in the ring as Hero reveals his true ability?and identity. Goku and Tien Shinhan must fight one another in a friendly rematch to claim the last remaining spot for the semi-finals.

Episode 140 – Goku Gains Speed:
As the battle between Tien Shinhan and Goku rages, Goku unloads a heavy burden, one that may shift the balance in the extraordinary showdown. All eyes turn to Tien as an embarrassing moment spurs him to make a dangerous choice.

Episode 141 – The Four Faces of Tien:
Goku has always been able to handle himself in the ring, but when his fight with Tien Shinhan turns into a war against an army, he finds himself in serious jeopardy. Tien?s new technique may spell the end for our hero!

Episode 142 – Kami vs. Piccolo:
Goku is eager to fight Junior, but Kami fears his inexperience will be his downfall. Hero takes on Junior in the last round of the semi-finals, where his shocking agenda is revealed.

Episode 143 – Battle for the Future:
Goku faces the ultimate test as he confronts his greatest nemesis in the final round of tournament. This time his fight is for more than the title. The future of the free world is at stake!

Episode 144 – Super Kamehameha:
The battle to save the planet continues as Goku tries to take down Junior in the final match of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament. Goku has an ultimate weapon: The Super Kamehameha Wave. However, if he uses it to destroy Junior, Kami will be sacrificed, having been trapped inside Junior?s stomach!

Episode 145 – Junior No More:
Junior reveals a startling secret that shocks the tournament. Goku finds himself facing a huge dilemma, as his fight for the championship becomes the fight for survival!

Episode 146 – Goku’s Trap:
As the exhausting battle between Goku and Junior continues, Goku avoids disaster by taking the battle within. Junior surprises all when he unveils a new threat!

Episode 147 – Goku Hangs On:
The World Martial Arts Tournament begins to fall to pieces as Junior unveils a technique that not only threatens to destroy Goku, but his friends as well. Even the mighty Kami believes that there is no way for Goku to survive in this winner-take-all massacre!

Episode 148 – The Victor:
The end of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament finds Goku struggling for survival as Junior gets the upper hand, poised to take the Title and his life. Kami devises a way to rescue the young hero, but his plan calls for the ultimate sacrifice!

Episode 149 – Dress in Flames:
Eager to announce their wedding plans, Goku and Chi Chi return to her father?s kingdom. The good news is short-lived when Ox King?s castle goes up in flames! Goku embarks on a quest to find a sacred tool, which can save Ox King and his future with Chi Chi.

Episode 150 – The Fire-Eater:
Goku and ChiChi?s search for the Basho Fan leads them into the heart of a fiery volcano. Once inside, they must face a mighty creature that consumes flames: the Fire-Eater!

Episode 151 – Outrageous Octagon:
Goku?s search for the Basho fan leads him to a treacherous mountain that has a strange curse. ChiChi is faced with the biggest mess of her life when she meets a mysterious old woman, while the Ox King tries to flee the raging fires that threaten to destroy his castle!

Episode 152 – Mystery of the Dark World:
After the Basho fan fails to put out the fire threatening the Ox King, Goku and ChiChi set out to find the Magical Furnace, believed to be the last hope for extinguishing the deadly blaze. But before they can complete their quest, Goku must solve the mystery of the Dark World.

Episode 153 – The End, The Beginning:
Goku and Chi Chi must travel to Mt. Five Elements in a last ditch effort to save her father, the Ox King, from the deadly magical flames, which threaten to consume his kingdom. Before Goku can complete his quest, he must fan the flames of Fate and hope he doesn?t get burned!
